Vtg 1962 A&W Root Beer Hamilton Skotch 1/2 Gallon Cold or Hot Mid Century MCM.
This item is in good condition. It is a pre-owned vintage item and does show signs or age and preownership. This item is being sold for decorative purposes only and not for use as a thermos, though it is possibly still useful in that capacity. There are sone scuffs and some small spots of oxidation on the exterior, but these are not major detractors from the overall vintage A&W Restaurant/ Mid Century Modern aesthetic or appeal, and can be seen in the photos. This item has what I believe to be its original lid which screws on securely and opens and closes easily. I cannot guarantee if the seal works well but I can't see why it wouldn't. The inner glass bottle is clean and does not have cracks or chips. The metal inside has some discoloration or possibly rust which can be seen in the photos, but this also does not affect the overall aesthetic or collectibility of the item.  There are photos of the item from multiple angles, closeups, and measurements.  Please see all photos before purchasing and feel free to contact me with any questions.
