Vintage Traco A&W Drive In Carhop Diner Food Tray Center Leg Bill Holder (L5)

Description

A vintage Traco-Dallas drive-in / carhop food tray.  It bears the A&W Restaurant logo on the tray. The tray is aluminum and measures 14 x 11".  The supports and center adjustable leg are steel.  It is in used condition and does have some marks on the tray, and some light rust in spots on the supports.  The rubber protectors are there except for one on the non-car side, but they have become hard with age.  I don't know if it was original or not to the tray or if it was added later, but there is a strip of metal attached that would serve as a bill / money holder.  Great patina overall!
