Vintage Set of 2 - A&W Root Beer Mugs - 1968 & 1978 Logos - 4 1/4" High
Nice set of 2 A&W Root Beer Mugs with logos from 1968 and 1978. The mug on the left has the 1968 A&W Root Beer logo and is described as "This mug has a solid white oval logo where the orange and brown circles are shaped like ovals. The term solid means the & sign allows the white to enter it."  The mug on the right has the 1978 A&W Root beer logo and is described as "This is a Large Logo variety mug where the flutes go less than half way up the mug with small lettering detail hard to read."  Both has the iconic A&W Root beer orange, brown and white colors and A&W has used thick glass mugs to serve root beer since the beginning of the company. Root beer tastes best when very cold, so A&W franchises were required to use chilled approved glass mugs.
Each mug stands 4 1/4" tall and 3 1/4" wide at the top rim and are in good used condition with some minimal but normal wear on each logo but overall two great examples of a burger franchise that has withstood the test of time for almost 100 years. These would make a fun and unique gift for anyone that loves vintage advertising pieces or anyone like me, that always enjoyed a cold frosted mug of A&W Root beer.
Vintage and antique items have been loved and used by the previous owner so please expect for there to be some imperfections. If there are any major imperfections such as age cracks, rust, chips, etc. I will do my best to list them. I will combine shipping if you buy multiple items when I can.
