Vintage A&W A & W Root Beer Miniature 3 1/4" Tall Baby Mug 1968 Logo & USA Map

We suspect many readers will recall pulling into their local A&W Root Beer Stand for a "papa burger basket" (or maybe just a "momma burger") which included a burger, fries, slaw and a frosty mug of A&W root beer brought out to their vehicle by a carhop who hooked the tray of goodies on the partially rolled-down window. Experienced shoppers learned that they could request a "baby mug" as a sample for someone or for a toddler to try to handle. Here's a chance to own a piece of that history with this adorable baby mug. The final photo shows the dimensions. Our research shows that this one dates back to the 1960s with the USA map logo.
It's in remarkably good condition for its age--no chips or cracks--with only a couple of wee abrasions on the back side (see photos), most likely from stacking and moving over the years rather than from use.
