Hello again from AxeMasters.  We are happy to offer our musical brass nut for the Music Man Sting Ray 5 Bass.  There is an inherent problem with most bass guitars that is not generally known.  The cheap plastic nut.  Large diameter bass strings tend to cut into the nut slots.  Take a look at your nut and you'll probably find the nut slots have deepened from string abrasion.  Every time you adjust the tuning, you saw-tooth the slot.  Over time, this lowers the string and results in string "buzz."  Well, a great way to solve this problem is to use a hard, brass nut.  And musical brass is the perfect choice as it is tonally superior as well.

Our nut is handcrafted from solid musical brass and round-slotted for perfect string placement. All hand-made - no machines. Very attractive brushed surface finish. Fits the Music Man Classic SR 5 Bass:  1/8" thick, 3/16" tall, 1 3/4" long.
