A Superb Quality COMPENSATED Brass Nut for Your P Bass
Hello again from AxeMasters. Many modern design bass guitars are utilizing a "compensated" nut design.  The design helps with intonation and tuning.  The idea started with 6 string guitars and is now migrating to the 4 string bass.  We are happy to offer our BRASS Compensated Nut as a direct drop-in replacement for your Precision bass nut.
Brass is the "gold standard"
for nut materials due to the "ring" that it adds to your tone.  And
nut slot wear issues are eliminated
(as with many bass guitars) since brass is so tough.
Our flat-bottom nut is hand ground and sanded from solid musical brass and round-slotted for perfect string placement. Then we file the compensation grooves to the proper depth for each string.  All hand-made - no machines. Very attractive brushed surface finish. Fits any Precision bass utilizing the flat-bottom nut design.  Length 1.62", height .19", thickness .12".
