    Description

    The "Perfect" Guitar Nut is a die cast grooved nut with a heavy nickel plating to easily convert your guitar for horizontal slide playing, like a Dobro, Hawaiian, or Lap Steel. This replacement nut doesn't throw you out of tune when switching from regular steel string to Lap Style set up. Raises the strings' action for slide playing. It measures 1-7/8 inches in length. It is hollow to fit over an existing nut. The fretboard edge is radiused and about 3/16 inch shorter than the headstock side. The top edge of the groove is 1/8 inch. These used to be the ones offered by Micro (model 1103) before they went out of business. When I carried these they were a big seller. I am glad that Grover picked these up and are now carrying them under their brand.
