The Lipton tennis Championships 1994 ticket signed by Cliff Drysdale

For your consideration is a rare original signed autograph Lipton Tennis Championship ticket by Cliff Drysdale. My husbands company was one of the sponsors of the Lipton in 1994. His company had hired both Mr. Drysdale and Vitas Gerulaitis to give a tennis clinic which we attended. Afterwards, they personally signed our tickets. While we did not have to authenticate them because they signed right in front of us, you are more than welcome to do so and if you find it not to be authentic we will be more than willing to accept the return and return your payment.
Cliff Drysdale, while being a competitive tennis player in his 12 year career, after retiring,  was known as the "voice " of tennis for nearly 5 decades and in all three capacities no one has represented the game with more dignity, grace, and distinction. Drysdale's soft, smooth and comforting voice made him the authoritative broadcaster on ESPN's tennis coverage since 1979. Rod Laver said he could talk a lion in to becoming a vegetarian.  ESPN had extended Drysdale's contract for at least one more year.
The ticket is in very good condition. The only flaw is on the upper left hand corner where it was unstapled from the ticket book at the event. The signature is very clear with only the smallest amount of smudge from the ink used.
