Sonnett Sculpture ~ JACK RUSSELL Decorative Hand Made Tassel ~ One-of-a-Kind!

Hi everyone!
Years ago I created a number of decorative tassels and music boxes to sell featuring my sculpted ceramic animals.  Right before this last Christmas I pulled out the long packed away box of tassel making supplies to make one for a relative. Then, with the studio strewn with all that stuff, I was inevitably drawn to try creating a few more during my "down" time off from eBay. So here is the first one, a royally dressed Jack Russell in blues and golds.
The tassels are fun to put together but quite time consuming. The purchased tassels themselves come in many different colors and sizes and are plain.  Sculpting the animal's head from ceramic clay, painting and firing it is the easy part (for me). Next is picking out fabrics, ribbons and beads to add on in coordinating colors and sizes. A head piece is put together to hold a gold cord for hanging anywhere.  I've shown them hanging on furniture keys, a coat rack, armoire, cabinet.  They will also sit up on any flat surface!
I've signed and dated this on the back of the terrier's head. It says Barbie Sonnett, 2022 because I made the head at the end of last year.
Measurements: from the top of the head dress to the bottom of the fringe tassel is 8".  The gold cord will add another
3 3/4".
I've been selling my one-of-a-kind whimsical ceramic animal sculpture as a full time profession since 1982 and for the past 23 years exclusively on eBay.
