Description
Up for auction is a very rare find, it is a vintage store display wooden firkin bucket that held tobacco cigars made by the Consolidated Cigar Corporation circa 1969. The wooden bucket still has its original triangle paper label on the bottom that reads- Consolidated Cigar Corporation New York, N.Y. 10023 The Ordinary Price Of The Cigars Herein Contained Is Intended By The Manufacturer To Be More Than 8 Cents And Not More Than 15 cents each. Cigar Tear Tab Protected By Patent No. 2,337,741 These Cigars Are Predominantly Natural Tobacco With Non-Tobacco Ingredients Added. The wooden display bucket stands 6" at the lip, about 7 1/2" at the top of the wood knob handle, about 9" at the top of the wooden carrying handle, 6 1/4" across the top and 7" across the bottom, there are NO cracks or repairs and it is very very clean on the inside, there may be a few very light scratches and I have found 1 tiny nick in the wood (see pics 3 and 5) this is so minor and the piece is so rare that I am sure this will be forgiven. I know this will be a very very rare addition to your vintage cigar or tobacco collection. I am sure I am starting this way way below book value, so bid early, please view my other auctions for more unique items.I always combine shipping on more than one auction to help save customers money when possible,
