    The Province Cigar Company is listed as from 1897-1920 in Victoria, British Columbia
    The information about the cigar box is from: “LICENCE CODES FOR CANADIAN CIGAR MANUFACTURERS: 1883-1962 by Christopher D. Ryan”
    The Revenue Stamp, although not in great condition, appears to be the 1897 series.
    On the bottom is stamped : Factory 7 I.R.D. 37 Province Cigar Co.
    One side is labelled: IMPERIALS, The Province, Colorado Clara (faint, refers to color mark)
    Size: 7 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 2 1/4"
