Kildow's Old Stock. wooden cigar box, 100 cigar box, Intact inside lid label

Here is a nice small wooden cigar
box, from
the Kildow cigar
manufacturers. It is 13.50 inches in length, 5.50 inches width and 3.25 inches tall; looks like it held maybe
100 cigars
.
Measurements are approximate. On the front it
says,
" Kildow's Old Stock, A five cent
cigar, now
2 for 5." Outer edges are covered with a red paper tape. The inside of the lid label
says,
"Kildows Old Stock, A Five cent cigar,2 for 5,"The extreme mildness and superior blend of these cigars are due to the age of the tobacco from which they are made". Back of box gives you the legal language and the factory number. One end
says,
" Kildows Old Stock
" Paper
tape is tattered. Where the lid is attached to the box there is more information. Front of box says Londres.It has a tax stamp that is for 100 cigars. Tape is tattered,1 corner was a chip to the
wood, some
staining. I
collected this because it bears a family member in the Kildow side of our family.
