    Description

The new Fender L.S.R. Roller Nut is the most advanced low-friction guitar nut available. Each string is supported by a pair of hardened chrome-steel ball bearings that provide nearly friction-free operation. The ball bearings are supported in a stainless steel housing that is durable and corrosion resistant. A stainless steel retainer cage surrounds the ball bearings to keep them in place when changing strings. Rubber dampers behind the bearings dampen any unwanted string vibrations beyond the nut. Along the front edge of the frame are the individual string guides. The guides control string movement during extreme bending to prevent the string from popping out from between the bearings. The guides accommodate a variety of gauges for each string without adjustment or modification to the nut. The roller nut will accommodate any set of strings gauged from .008 at the treble end to .056 at the bass end. For use on American Deluxe guitars with HSS pickup configuration, also fits older Strat Plus with included Wilkinson
    (R)
adapter. The Fender L.S.R. Roller nut is also a replacement for other guitars originally equipped with a Wilkinson
    (R)
roller nut. For new installations it is recommended that a luthier or qualified guitar technician perform the installation. All necessary hardware is included with screws and shims as well. The free movement of strings over the nut will help strings return their proper tuning when bending or using the tremolo. Make that guitar of yours perform better with this. Made in the USA.
