    Description

    This circa 1915 wooden cigar box has labelling for the Tannhauser brand
    of cigars on it, and the cigars were made at Factory 1500 of the 1st
    collection district of Pennsylvania, which was owned by Elias E. Kahler,
    a prominent Reading, Berks County, PA, cigar maker beginning in the
    1890s.
    Condition is "Used". Wear and tear on most of the label elements of this box,
    with some surface loss on the outside lid label, the front label, and along
    the hinge area in the back.  Tax stamp is largely intact with loss at its lefthand
    end.  Factory ID and caution block are pretty well struck and mostly legible.
