Niclosamide 1000mg
Indications
Take the tablet after light breakfast, chew thoroughly before swallowing and then washed down with water. For small children it's advisable to grind the tablets as finely as possible and mix the powder with a little water. Can be used during pregnancy.
For Infections with pork tapeworm
Adults and Children over 6 years: 2 tablets as a single dose
Children 2-6 years: 1 tablet as single dose
Children under 2 years: 1/2 tablet as a single dose
A laxative is given about 2 hours after the dose.
For infections with beef tapeworm and fish tapeworm
Adults and Children over 6 years: 1 tablet after breakfast and 1 tablet an hour later
Children 2-6 years: 1/2 tablet after breakfast and 1/2 tablet an hour later
Children under 2 years: 1/4 tablet after breakfast and 1/4 tablet an hour later
For infections with dwarf tapeworm
Adults and Children over 6 years: 2 tablets on the first day followed by 1 tablet daily for 6 days
Children 2-6 years: 1 tablet on the first day followed by 1/2 tablet daily for 6 days
Children under 2 years: 1/2 tablet on the first day followed by 1/4 tablet daily for 6 days
