    1969 Stamps celebrating the achievements of the Red Cross in these beautiful West African nations.  Both the Gabon sheet and the Togo set look brand spanking MINT to me, but please defer to the photos, which should be self-explanatory
    Togo is known to few, but is a tiny country on the NW coast of Africa....that once had one of those story-book World Cup Teams, on the same level as Iceland and Costa Rica.  Gabon is the place to go for elephants, while they are still around...and has been one of the few nations, like Belize, that takes care of its natural beauty.
