1935 Gabon Scott #198 Single Franking on Cover to New Jersey

Description

A nice large cover sent from Fort-Lamy, Tchad to Elizabeth, New Jersey. Franked with Gabon Scott #198, the 1.50fr “Afrique Equatoriale Française” overprinted stamp from 1930 which is tied to the cover by the Fort-Lamy, Tchad postmark dated July 11, 1935. Appears to be a government printed envelope which measures 217mm x 150mm. See scans for condition – vertical and horizontal fold – creases - some separation at top due to crease.
