    Description

    Up for sale is a wonderful and historically significant 1883 "Home Run" cigar box.  As far as I'm aware, this is the only surviving example, and it is in beautiful condition! All of the labels are bold, and the center spine on the lid is still 100% in tact. Some scratching on the tax stamp (although the Series of 1883 date is still completely visible), and a few pencil notations on the bottom. Overall grade would be a 7-8.  This would be a cornerstone piece to any turn-of-the-century baseball or tobacco collection.  Please do not hesitate to ask questions.
