I have been in the antique frame restoration business for over 30 years.  Most of the frames I am selling were purchased at estate sales, and may have needed anything from minor repair work, to cleaning, highlighting, or basic TLC.
This particular frame needed a basic cleaning.  (*Please see the photos for the best representation of the condition of the frame.*)

The exterior dimensions of this 1870's frame measures 14" by 16".  The interior window opening measurement on the frame is 9 1/2" by 11 1/2".
