    Pharmacological properties of

The active substance of the drug is fenbendazole (5-phenyl-thio-2-benzimidazole carbamate), which has a broad spectrum of activity to adult forms and larvae of nematodes of the digestive tract and lungs and certain types of cestodes.
The mechanism of action of the drug is the destruction of microtubules in the intestinal cells of helminths and disruption of energy processes, which leads to the death of parasites.
