    Description

    0.205 carat light sky blue Brazil paraiba tourmaline. I had this gemstone cut a few months ago from a 20 year old rough. This Brazilian paraiba tourmaline is from the original São José da Batalha mine and is unheated. It is untreated as of what I know, but since I got it from a 20 year old rough I cannot confirm it. This gemstone is transparent with many inclusions and some clouds. This gemstone can look more or less saturated depending on light source and intensity, as well as the angle in which the light hits it, but it is light blue. Most Brazilian paraiba tourmalines have some of many inclusions, especially when untreated. Brazilian paraiba tourmalines are one of the rarest and most sought after gemstones in the world, being worth more per carat weight than most diamonds. Please see all pictures before purchasing this gemstone and be aware that it is small, as are most Brazilian paraiba tourmalines. Be certain of purchase because I do not accept return.
